Birthday Cake

The last photo of my 50/50 series.

Lame?

Probably.

I thought all along that I would post some fantastic shot of my family,

my dog, something work related, or me (bad idea…), but in the end

I decided on this shot of a cake that some family friends made for me.

It was banana cake with homemade frosting and it was delicious!

Served to friends and family–it was perfect.

Picked up the camera a fired off a few frames.

I love that it wasn’t planned.

Thanks to everyone for that perfect slice of life, perfect slice of cake

and especially for sharing a brief moment of your time with me!
