Finally…

Last, but not least…

Our moment to meet Ree Drummond a.k.a. The Pioneer Woman!

Luckily, I don’t think we said anything too strange.

We talked about her “media man” and his job as her escort (and photographer for many, including us!)

Gave her some DLM brownies.

Confessed that we didn’t want to appear as stalkers.

She replied with,, “Oh, I’m not stalker worthy!”

Had our photo snapped and that was that!

Hung around for a few minutes to enjoy all the craziness and then it was back home to the ordinary.

Glad we went!

Not stalkers, just curious to meet someone that lives in the “middle of nowhere”, starts a blog, writes about cooking, laundry, cattle, kids and a basset hound and has the whole world waiting for the next episode!

Cowboy boots may appear in my closet soon!

Just a few of the new friends we made on Saturday!

O-H-I-O!

Well…we tried…

Barnes and Nobles rocked!

The ticket line in the morning was short and sweet–gotta love those early birds!

And once we were back at the store for the actual, event the Barnes and Nobles staff was pretty awesome!

They had the floors marked with tape to show us were to stand and then this lovely lady showed us how to bookmark the pages that Ree Drummond would be signing.

Thanks Barnes and Nobles for making it painless!
